Trim & Molding Matching · St. Petersburg & Tampa Bay

The hardest part of finish carpentry in St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay homes is making new work match old — matching a trim profile that isn't sold anymore, blending a repair into a wall of existing molding, sizing a built-in so it looks like the architect drew it. Trim and molding matching is our specialty.

We read the existing trim, source or replicate the exact profile, match the proportions and finish, and tie new into old so the seam disappears. It's the difference between carpentry that looks installed and carpentry that looks original — and it's the only kind we do.

In older St. Petersburg and Tampa homes especially, the original profile often isn't sold anymore — so we replicate it: build it up from stock pieces or have a custom knife milled to match. Then we match the proportion and finish and tie new trim into old with the right joinery, so you can't tell where one ends and the other begins.

Finish carpentry that looks like it was always there.

Why Choose Our Finish Carpenter in St. Petersburg

More than installation — finish carpentry done right the first time.

Most people can't name what finish carpentry is, but they can feel it: it's why one room looks complete and the next looks unfinished. The difference between builder-grade and truly custom isn't the material — it's the precision, the planning, and the detail work that ties everything together. That's the whole job, and it's all we do.

As a licensed Florida general contractor, Josh handles the work himself rather than handing it to a rotating crew — so the person who quoted your project is the person building it, accountable for every reveal, miter, and finished edge. Clients tell us they notice three things most: the attention to detail, the clean and organized job site, and that we show up when we say we will.

Who We Work With

Homeowners, designers, and builders across Tampa Bay.

We work directly with homeowners who want their space done right, and we collaborate with interior designers, architects, builders, and investors — from the planning stage or once the design and scope are already set. Whether it's a single custom built-in, a whole-home trim package, or the finish work on a full renovation, the standard is the same: clean lines, matched detail, and a result that looks professional and well-executed.

Meet the Maker

Built by Josh Clark, start to finish.

Josh has spent more than 15 years in the trade — running trim crews, co-owning a custom cabinet shop, building custom homes, and leading full renovations. That range is what lets him match existing trim, design built-ins that fit the architecture, and take a project from rough framing to the final piece of molding without ever losing the detail.

Alyssa runs operations and client relations — your single point of contact from the first call to the final walkthrough, and the reason clients keep telling us how clear and organized the whole process felt.
