J Fox LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates jfoxllc.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We are a finish carpentry and custom built-ins company based in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are not in the business of selling data, and we do not sell yours.

1. Information you give us

When you contact us or request an estimate, we collect what you choose to send:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The city or area your project is in
• A description of your project
• Any photos or files you upload to show us the space

You do not have to give us any of this. If you would rather not use the form, you can call or text us instead, and we will only have whatever you tell us.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records some technical information when you visit:

• The pages you view and how long you stay
• The website or search that sent you here
• Your general location, at a city or region level, not a street address
• Your device type, browser, and operating system

We use Google Analytics for this. It relies on cookies and similar technologies, and it aggregates visits so we can see which pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which sets its own cookies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and protect against abuse.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
• To prepare and send you an estimate
• To schedule a walkthrough or the work itself
• To communicate with you about a project that is underway
• To keep records of work we have completed

We use the automatic information to understand how people find and use the site, and to make it better.

4. Phone calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your enquiry or your project. We do this to do the job, not to market to you.

We will not add you to a marketing text list. If you would rather we did not text you, tell us and we will call or email instead. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

5. Photos of your home and your project

If you send us photos of your space, we use them to understand the project and to quote it accurately.

We will not publish photos of your home, your project, or anything identifying you without asking you first. If we would like to use photos of finished work in our portfolio, on social media, or in marketing, we will ask you, and no is a perfectly good answer that will not affect your project or your price.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Squarespace, which hosts the website and delivers form submissions to us
• Google, for website analytics
• Email and scheduling tools we use to reply to you and book appointments

These are service providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights, our safety, or someone else's.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project information as long as we need it to do the work and to keep proper business and warranty records. Enquiries that never become projects are kept for a reasonable period and then cleared.

If you want us to delete what we hold about you, ask, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, and we rely on Squarespace and Google to secure the platforms they run.

No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send us financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the website form.

9. Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete it
• Ask us to stop contacting you
• Turn off cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Analytics

10. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

Our site may link to other websites, for example a supplier, a licensing board, or a review platform. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
